HUMOR HOLDS INTEREST LONGER

Don't forget to consider an oft-overlooked strategy to keep your readers excited as they read your story — well-placed humor.

Keep your readers chuckling throughout your book. The more frequent and louder the reader chuckles or laughs, the better! Hilarious passages hold interest longer and are one of the more effective features to keep the pages turning!

Sprinkle a touch within your lengthier stretches of narrative, flashbacks, backstory,  or instructional writing that may otherwise be less enticing. Humor works wonders when used to break the tension that builds with suspense and intense action
 — in fiction and real life.

For examples of the use of "humor" to encourage a chuckle here or there, take a peek into the "Look inside" feature of my sequel, The New World: Blue Moon Generation, on Amazon!
