The Skalags developed these ferocious "denamods" (DNA-modified predators) to terrorize the Ukes who referred to these monsters as muclones.

DEFINITION of a MUCLONE: a mutant created from manipulating odd combinations of earthly animal, insect, and plant DNA that are cloned to create greater numbers of unearthly beasts. Muclone is derived from "cloned mutant."
